Kamloops is soon to have a commercial Art Gallery in its downtown core. Representing approximately 30 Artists and just a five minute walk to the Kamloops Art Gallery , Kamloops Museum and Archives, accommodations, restaurants and shopping. It will located in the heart of Kamloops at 250 Victoria St.
KOPP has been an artist most of his life, finding inspiration in subjects that arouse the emotions that inspire and move us.
Mark Kopp started working with a commercial art company and then on to run his own company in his early twenties. As the years went by, discovering his style, evolving as an artist, entering and winning local contests, Mark has owned and operated two Galleries in the past, one featuring his own work and a second one representing more than 30 artist from across Canada.
Kopp went on to do a series of solo shows in various venues, etc... Many of the Shows had a deep personal meaning to him and others they touched. “Surviving” was a show that featured cancer survivors of all ages. “Faces without a Home” showcased homeless people in his community. “For the Love of Jazz” was a show that highlighted not only paintings, but the show was filled with jazz music compliments of a three-piece jazz group. The evolution of Kopp’s work over the years was showcased in a show he called “Diversity”
Mark spent many of the last few years, doing consignment work. Large scale pieces for Clients, some of which have returned for multiple pieces.
Mark has showcased in New York, Vancouver and Kelowna, shipping his work to clients as far away as the Czech Republic.
Every Artwork created by KOPP, are one of a kind creation and will not be reproduced. .
